We are committed to Parliament being more open to our citizens. The first step is to enable all our citizens to have access to the record of what is said in Parliament. The transcript of parliamentary proceeds is known as Hansard. Since 2003 the Parliament of Gibraltar has produced a CD Rom version of all its Hansards. This was the initiative of the Clerks of the Parliament who work hard to provide this searchable database to members of Parliament. Hansards at the moment can only be accessed by the members of the public actually turning up at the Parliament to look through the printed versions. As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability we have posted all of the electronic versions of Hansard that we have available on this site for you to search. The Hansards are set out by type (bills, motions, questions) and by date. (If you find that any edition of Hansard since late 2003 is missing, let us know and we will do our best to have it up as soon as possible).
The Hansards are being uploaded on a daily basis. Thank you for your patience.
